This was a response to our call to save rural poor school girls who are at a high risk of dropping out or school due to lack of sanitary material. its not about just giving them sanitary pads, but it comes with a full package which include different personal life care and management and this is very important.

We sent our donation request to AfriPads foundation Uganda
In our efforts towards distribution of reusable sanitary pads to thousands of poor rural school girls who use rags from garbage, paper, tree leaves and other unfit materials, on September 1st, AfriPads foundation Uganda accepted our donation request for the sanitary kits. These kits will be distributed to rural school girl and will be accompanied by sanitary management education, sensitization about HIV/AIDS as well as education about adolescence challenges and management. Many poor rural school girls need this support. because of poverty, many rural school girls can not manage the commercial sanitary pads on the market , so when it comes to their monthly days, it is s total disaster and this makes them miss allot of school attendance leading to poor performance as well as many dropping out of school. this strengthens the chain of poverty and its challenges.
